Oh, thanks for letting me know Zayac! I will try to fix that for the next patch.

Snarkqueen: if you start with the "Intense" template and select One Color in Custom Difficulty, you can get the exact same orb density and detection as when the game was released.

Hi, Loïc. Nope, drive E: isn't a network drive, but I've found an issue. If subfolder's name ENDS with space (ASCII code 20h, i.e. "E:\Music\Somefolder ", notice space here), than you can't browse this folder (cannot enter E:\Music).

I found two folders with space at the end, renamed them, and now all is good :)

i'm loving this game, and the overload difficulty very hardcore, but some generation's notes in my songs don't approach under a rhythm

add please such difficulty that it is possible to do the my own notes (not the generation notes) like a EOF (programm for frets on fire)

I was really, really loving this game before the update. Now most of my songs are, well... broken. Songs I was previously enjoying (simply in relaxing mode) now don't register as well or something with the 'magic.' I've tweaked a custom difficulty that's almost the way it used to be (I do like that custom feature!), but unless my songs have a really thumping hard beat, they're no longer worth playing in the game because the game just makes up its own patterns that have little to do with the music... whereas before they followed it very well. Am I alone in this experience? I'll cross my fingers for the next update.

Directions are not random, they follow the pitch of voices and instruments in that freq range (not always accurate for algorithm speed purposes).

Zayac: what if you wait a few minutes after clicking it? (just in case the 400 folders would slow it down? Though I don't think it should be an issue). Not sure how to help you with that one, I've never encountered that issue. Is your E:/ drive a network drive?

In recent songs I've played, the line between jogging and running segments seems a little biased towards running, but that's probably just me.
It would help to indicate more clearly which symbol is colour and which is direction while in Colour and Direction Mix mode.

I'm sure this is already on your to-do list, but the background needs something a bit more interesting going on it - in jogging segments, perhaps close trees passing by behind you, and in running segments, something flashing by at high speed to really give you the sense that you are running.

Good work on this update! Good to have the colour/direction combos back.

Thanks for game! I've bought it at 0.6.1 and it is still has an issue in 0.6.2. I just cannot open my default music folder. It is situated on E:\Music\ and have 400+ folders inside. I'm clicking it, but nothing happens, in-game file browser doesn't enter it and stays in root folder. And so I have to copy songs from that folder to another one on the same disk..

NTFS permissions are set as default. So... don't even know what to do..

And also I'm very agree with SinApps about music rhythm in songs.

I can give you props for allowing a custom difficulty, but one issue is just gnawing at me and keeping me from giving this a recommendation: The buttons themselves.

The songs I play have a very rhythmic pattern to them, usually kick > clap > kick > clap with some hats in between. However, when such songs are brought into the game, it doesn't translate well with the buttons whether it's with all colors, color and direction, etc. Instead, the button prompts go left, up, up, up, up, right, up, left or something along those lines. Definitely not in sync with the rhythm of the song. It throws me off multiple times because I assume it to go up, right, up, right, and not purely randomized.

If it's an issue that can be fixed via editing the algorithm a bit, then I highly suggest doing so. If not, I suppose I could live with it.
