X-Com 2 is one of my favourite games, i keep coming back to it after several run throughs. I also really like WOTC so far - haven't finished my first run through yet. I haven't had any problems running either game on my PC either. Maybe its because I don't use any mods. Anyway, I'm enjoying the product.

Found the changes. There were many, but this one calls to me in particular:

"Character Pool now checks base game and expansion directories for available pools."

Yay! I don't have to re-create my character pool on PS4!

Xenonauts is a good suggestion if you like that classic gameplay. There is also OpenXcom, which is more or less a fan-made remastered version of the original(using the original assets), with a decent mod community if you're into that. They have even brought over TFTD and I think are working on an Apocalypse version.

You could also try Xenonauts

@Ormagodon - I totally agree it's nothing like the original UFO: Enemy Unknown (as it was called when I played it). However, I do think with this game especially - I was ambivalent towards the first one - that they have started to craft their own identity for the series that is distinctly different to Julian Gollop's games and enjoyable in its own right.

Yes, I'm a huge fan of being able to micro the hell out of my inventory, build multiple bases across the globe and take 14-man squads from the get go - but that just isn't what the Firaxis series is about anymore.

Also his profile is set to private so he's probably just a troll that thinks he's something more.

Whiplash has spewed that bullshit on one of the other announcements as well.
It's quite clear he puts more effort into his comments then his research.
