Full Controller Support?

So I absolutely love this game. Played the browser version a bunch of times with my friends. It was even cooler that the browser version had controller support (we normally play 3-player with keyboard, arcade stick, and xbox controller). I was so stoked this game was coming to Steam but was really sad to find out that it does not support controllers yet. I am really really hoping that it will come to Starwhal soon....
