This game is great, but I stilI see a lot of untapped potential in this game, and if the work and effort are put into this, then it can become something truly magnificant.

I have a few suggestions: I believe you should be able to set a custom number limit on the T size of ships in your server. Currently it doesn't go above 6000T. I think if you allowed people to set custom numbers, a few good servers could pop up and this will allieviate the problem of massive lagships plagueing official servers. I also think there should be a vote-kick and/or vote-ban option, and in the future, if possible, a way to limit what equipment can and cannot be used in your game/server.

I agree with Stefan, ive seen quite a few player ships there were literal heaps of navals 100's, gravity wells, and armor, bringing server's (and my compy) to it's knee's. I think that adding more ranks, while keeping super admiral dead last, would be a good way to alleviate ship designs.

Something I've also started wondering about, in an effort to minimize spam ships, is to implement an energy system, where ships are limited by their ability to generate and hold energy which in turn limits the number of active modules. Granted this will complicate ship designs, but it should place a harder limit on part count.
