Speaking of flaming, i think that a flamethrower should be added to the game to heat things up a bit, does anybody agree?

Constructive is good. Attack ideas instead of individuals. Freedom does not equal chaos. Be responsible for your words and consider your intent.

So much to say on this but it would clutter up the comments.

mfw there's flaming in the comments section for the post concerning flaming
Oh, the irony.

I hope everyone plays nice, but I find it a little frustrating that it has to come down to this.
People should learn to be constructive in their criticism, and state WHY something is terrible, whether it comes down to inconsistencies, bad mechanics, poor design choices, or whatever!
Delete away for those who don't follow the rules.

this post is a terrible idea, ugh this is so dumb

@Rocco, I doubt that very much, It's patently obvious from the message what they're saying - don't say something like that without backing it up with explanation, and certainly not just in an insulting manner.
You're making a crass assumption, I would say.
Rocco Siffredi Nov 12, 2013 @ 12:27am
So if i stated the obvious "this is terrible idea" and someone for some reason needs an explanation, i will get struck by a banhammer immideatly without even having to take the effort of explaining myself? What a wonderful place.
Iso Nov 10, 2013 @ 3:44pm
To add on to this, the original post is ironically an example of why it's a bad thing to just say "this is a terrible idea."

You have to explain why something is bad, or else the idea will never stop being bad. Make your criticism constructive.
