I love a game with a good story and everything inside me wants to play this game. Only one thing is holding me back and I can't overcome it, I hate being chased. That would overshadow the whole game for me and the story would be lost for me. But good luck with the game!!

Sounds awesome.

Good thinking, taking that on board - as it is for the next release, there is a 'safe place' to listen to the full stories in peace.

I like both the idea of a chase/hunt AND the story. The way it is/was though, it's hard to enjoy (or relate to) the characters when I'm constantly listening for/or looking over my shoulder. I wish there was a way to take the story with us.

For an idea, if we can see the kids in our cellphone, why can't we pick up their energy from the Ether(net..) and dl the longer versions into our phone to watch/pause when we have a moment in game. That way the full story's still there, without having to leave the game.

Totally agree with you both, and that's why we've made those wonderful stories available to all who want to enjoy them, in a quiet location in the game - but you'll need a key to open that door...

And also as an alternative, you'll be able to link to a gallery of the full stories from the start screen. Plus I'm thinking iTunes? Only kidding about iTunes.

I agree that the story is something that made this game very different from the stalking of Slender. But you guys added something that Slender didn't have to this which made it have it's own unique twist to it. It makes you understand more where each charachter has come from.

You know what the problem is? The people who speak the loudest are usually the minority and they don't represent most gamers. Unfortunately the people who scream get heard and the rest of us just get left behind to play the mangled corpse of what was a good game.
I like the stories in game. I would play this without anyone chasingme. I like The Stanley Parable, Gone Home, Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs, Dear Esther simply because they provide something that is lacking in games, story. Interesting stories are being replaced by mindless corridors and "Slender Man" chases. I know not everyone will agree with me but that's fine. We're all different, but I think a lot of the reason the indie game scene is so good is because it offers something not available elsewhere, and that is what we are seeking in common.
