@ Baleur: The Ifreet from Arma 3 looks like an MRAP. I've spent enough time in many variations to know. The manned mission buggy on this game looks like an updated version of the actual moon rover IMO.

Hey guys, just to clarify, THE BUGGY IN THE PICTURE IS ONLT TO PLAY AROUND WITH AND IS NOT PART OF THE MANNED MISSION!!!! It helps illustrate how interactions with vehicles work and so on (for example the 3D GUI and so on). I recently added new screenshots of the 2 vehicles that WILL be used, here:

Manned Mobile Laboratory (airlock at rear and sides):

Manned Scout Buggy (unpressurized):

The Ifreet from Arma 3 looks more like a mars buggy than this.. And has better visibility.

@Benmilam, actually is different engine from Arma 3 - Its called Enforce and it was used recently for Carrier Command: Gaea Mission, however its pretty developed engine, because its origins date way back to Shade: Wrath of Angels and Alpha Prime.

@Devis Apparently you are unfamiliar with how a petrol engine operates, as they require air to function, and that's something in short supply on Mars. It would most certainly be electric and would probably run on either solar power or an RTG, not unlike the ones used for the rovers in the game.

I like the concept of the game. I guess you are using the same engine from ARMA 3. My only change would have been to explore a planet outside the solar system. A planet that might have life.

lots of people don`t understand what alpha means = work in progress, but i`m glad at least u could try the buggy, its a good start for it.

The Buggy is kind of a placeholder to give you something to play within the update. Real vehicles are currently in the works, closing to be finished soon! Cheers.

Dear Bohemia Interactive, one of the first things to do before creating and publishing a video game is to decide on which kind of player you want to attract and play the video game. You are going the wrong way when the game is supposed to simulate exploration on Mars and you insert some kind of truck only designed to look nice aesthetically and probably use a non renewable energy source ( petrol ). Sure, the players themselves could create theories, for example: the "truck" could help contain oxygen for the explorers on the mission and serve as a secondary base of operation, but they can't prove it until you add the features for all of the theories, for which they will probably annoy you to add. I think I have explained myself. I'm just trying to help.

i would buy this game if u could go to mars , survive there, mining, etc mission, don`t understand, is that part of the new update or is it in coming updates?
