How can I see what version I have? I don't see anything anywhere that verify's the last patch installed. I see no version number when I'm in game... so how do I know if I have patched successfully? Is there a command for the chat window or something? please.

So, is there a way to actually get this update through steam? Launcher don't do anything, so as reinstalling the game. Am I missing something?

@Kacho There is a new crafting system coming down the road as well as a better tutorial AND key mapping, changes are coming :)

as for the night, night is meant to be a time you dig in and hide.

This game is very counter intuitive. Figuring out how to craft items took way too long. For something that is so important to the game, it should be far less complicated.

The button mapping isn't very smart either. Various functions are scattered across the keyboard with little rhyme or reason. The Inventory is mapped to 'R'. Why not 'I''? Why is the crafting menu mapped to the '2' key? Various other functions are mapped to other keys, but the tutorial was so quick and rushed (obviously not finished) I was unable to retain that information as I tried to figure out other things.

Also, the caves and night time in general are extremely dark. Excessively so. Pitch black. I can't see anything more than a couple of feet ahead of my character. This makes exploring needlessly slow and frustrating. Especially with the countless pitfalls littered across the maps.
