A0.85 Update: Swamp Biome

We’ve been working on a bunch of new assets for A0.85, here are some concept art for the swamp biome for you to enjoy. The swamp biome is to the east of the southern grasslands, across the bay. It’s a flat area extending from the ocean to the south until it hits the high cliffs of the crater rim to the north. It’s a mix of wetlands and sink pits, populated by animals large and small, many of which poisonous and hunt by surprise.

We're aiming to get a0.85 out in late September or early October, depending on when we get all the story assets in game.

Here's to hoping with 0.85 you resolved some of the memory issues causing game crashes. Funny game though. *thumbs up*

@chrisbrookscollege It should update automatically. If it doesn't, right click it in your Steam Library, click properties, click the updates tab, and set it to always keep this game up to date.

You guys don't seem to understand what alpha and beta means. Alpha is all about adding content to the game, not fixing bugs. What is the point of fixing this stuff if they are going to add a ton of stuff that will break everything again? It's beta that they fix bugs and add functionality, not beta.

I agree there should be more work done to fix bugs and some performance issues on what is already there than to add a whole new area of bugs, glitches, and slow-downs.

Nice, but its more beta level content fluff instead of alpha level functionality additions. Can I build a functioning colony with a core yet in a multiplayer colony building game?
No...

Well done Pathea. I think you deserve a pat on the back. The concept of the new biome is nice to see and the scale is awesome.

Very nice for this Pre-Release game .. Version 0.85. I think that had to be said as this game is still in development which means for those that may have some misconceptions that the product will have "problems". As a community for a pre-release product we all should be more prepared to assist with "problems", checking that your problem isnt allready known and a resolution being worked on for that particular problem. *rant over*

Anyways, great work so far Pathea. I for 1 am really enjoying the game, interested to see what comes next ingame and happy to wait for that to come along.

I wish that instead of releasing new content added to sit, sleep, online synchronization (see trees cut down another player and not be in watching him walk)

It is appreciated but I think there are more important things
