Oh, I missed the post about achievements. Sorry.
The plan is to activate them during development, but we'll see if it's viable as some things necessary for them to work properly will be implemented at a later stage (but also during development naturally). Meaning, we're not 100% sure if we'll wait for all achievements to work until we activate them, or if we'll activate them partially over time.

To continue on the loot selection/destroy/drop. Individual loot selection is planned. "Loot in the vicinity" panel sounds good actually. If you could target stuff through it etc. It may not be the fastest method, but it would get the job done. We'll try to include it as soon as possible. Thanks for the suggestions! :)

@Tarjaic Yeah i know, and if you travel too far say good bye to your mech suits lol.

But yeah cargo holds are very small, iv only managed to trade in my starter ship for a 45 space cargo ship and having just 10 ore onboard adds up when you need to keep running back and forward to a base to sell it.

But for now i guess u could just only fight other ships and not mine for rare ores, that being said fighting for loot takes longer and you need to travel.

*Bug?* When i go from zone to zone (those hexagon's) the game sometimes crashes. Wheres the log file and can you give me an email addy so i can send it to you?

Wee-Lan-Chi has a good point it is a bit annoying when i keep beaming it 20 stacks of ice when i want my sweet combat mechs. Perhaps prorities the pickups on value or a destroy button would work as well. As it is i have to fly as far as i dare away dump it and try to find the stuff i left floating in the vastness of space. It is a bit difficult.

Thanks Dan destroy button and/or a wee window showing all the loot in the area so we can just pick what to beam aboard (altho that would be the best idea it also seems kind of slow)

It's really great to see frequent updates from you guys. I loved the first SPG, and I'm enjoying 2 even more, even at this early stage.

You may have answered this in previous topics - and if you I have apologise - but will achievements be enabled during the development or is that a release-date update?

:) We'll see what we can do Wee-Lan-Chi. We still have yet to implement the possibility to manually select a piece of loot and choose specifically what you want to take aboard your ship, but a "Destroy" button might also be helpful. Thanks!

Can you add a destroy botton next to jettison?

Having the option to throw cargo out the door is one thing but theres no point when you get close to another bit of loot and the crew wants to pick up the thing you just dropped rather than whatever else your neer.

My crew continualy beems the crappy ore into the cargo hold instead of the lovely new shiny mech nano-suit with god powers... well maybe not that but im sure it would sell for more than 100 credits LOL
