@bonly: apt-get install multiarch and tell dpkg --add-architecture i386. You might also find this installer script I discovered (but did NOT make) of use: https://gist.github.com/4231563

Valve need to sort out the flash videos issue under linux. The adobe client is total crap especially since the majority of linux users are amd64. Can the steam cleint not use the google build/pepper api?

I wish this worked on my Kubuntu 12.10 installation.. but alas it doesn't for some reason... /sad

The joystick support is awesome, I'm able to use the 360 controller in Serious Sam 3 on Ubuntu 12.10 no problem now. Entire Steam crashes though when I take a screenshot, hmm.
