Region Lock DIED!...In Dark Souls™ Prepare To die Edition

A nice fix is available for all players since January 19th 2015 to completely remove the infamous multiplayer region lock in Dark souls: Prepare to die edition.
This patch also fixes the crash that could occur when opening the Book of Guilty.
To update your game, simply launch it from Steam with the auto-update option on.
Are you ready to die again?

I don't know what caused it, but i don't see ANY hints that i'm playing online. No messages, no summon, fails to invade every time, etc. Can anyone help me with this? My steam launcher says that i'm playing online.

I'm pretty sure this download region lock is still in effect, at least Watchdog says I'm gaining nodes after changing it.

it is nice to know you guys are still doing things for the title. How about you backport the fixes for weapons degradation that made it a function of fps you finally put into DS2?
