I have the GOG version of this game. I found the visuals and mouse were not quite right on my win 10. I have tried the CNC ddraw and found it works really well.

Why dosent this game have any steam achievements unlike Avernum 1 to 3?

Just wondering if anyone knows what the average length of this game is. I'm not one of those people who screams "If it's not 1000 hours it's not worth my money!", in fact I am the opposite. A good game is like a good book, it lasts exactly as long as it needs to last, and then it get's the hell out of the way while I still want to keep playing. That said, how long is this game? 20 hours? 40? The unholy 80 hours + some RPGs get up to? Thanks ahead of time....

Windows 10 and this don't seem to be on friendly terms, it loads up ok but it's laggy and a bit slow to respond.

I recommend that Avernum 1 through 3 be made into a steam package so that we can have the complete set. Is there any reason why they are not available on Steam? The entire series, 1 through 6, could also be made into a single pack.
