Game wont start on windows 11, anyone with same issue? Maybe a patch?

Just got this about 30 mins ago, use to play on xbox when I was a kid. Won't open for me. Ive cleared my chache, made sure my driver was updated, tried to open in windowed mode, and verified files. Ive also reinstalled it and tried to run as admin. just out of ideas on how to get it to even open....

I get to curly bill, and then just before he draws Slias starts screaming and taking damage and I am dead before he even draws what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on???????????????

I tried changing video settings , I tried changing compatibility settings , I ofc reinstalled the game many times. my laptop specs are : Asus rog strix Windows 11 64 bit , GPU : Nvidia Geforce RTX 4090 , Processor : Intel Core i9-13980HX (24 cores, 2,2 GHz / 5,6 GHz, 36 Mb cache) Ram : 64 GB , Screen 18" WQXGA (2560 x 1600) 240 Hz. I still love this game, just played through the 1st and 2nd again. Been years since I played this one again, and as the title says I just unlocked the top upgrade in the pistols category of skills. When I first unlocked it, it still showed me still using the engraved ranger. and it reflected in my mission results "preferred weapon". Next mission (the one with Grey Wolf) it started me out with basic six-shooters plain wood handles... I tried clicking on the already unlocked ivory-handled six-shooters repea...
