Whenever I want to start the game, it crashes while the galaxy is being loaded. So I can start the game, pick a civ, give data for the galaxy and when pushing the button, the game freezes while the galaxy is being made. Completely. I have no error message. Can someone help me? A reinstalling didn't work either....

Like whats the dps on this monster, i know it cant target like fighters and such but if i can manage the accuracy what downside or reason do i have of using any other weapon when this thing destroys sometimes in one shot?

I was a huge SEiv fan, but didn't really get into SEv when it was released. So I'm just learning the game now. The manual says that to capture a planet you need to drop troops, but doesn't give much detail on that. I don't see any troop pod components, so I loaded a bunch of troops onto one of my carriers and gave it the capture planet setting. I then dropped it into a fleet with a bunch of other ships and carriers. It was a good battle and fun to watch until my fighters, after finishing off the enemy...
