Steam on PS3 and Xbox

There both good systems but i think if we had them on the ps3 and Xbox we cannt crash our computer. Or make a Steam Console.

they will not make a console next year ps4 and xbox720 comeing out problel the last consoles for a long time

I don't think there is much point really except for Valve games, since Valve can't really offer anything for either of the systems which they do not have already through their own stores, I think you MAY be able to use Steam with the Linux OS for some of the old PS3 models but I don't know how good it would be for game performance and how many games would support it in the long run.

I would love to see steam do a kind of OnLive system through consoles. that way we could get loads of games that a console wouldnt normally see and the specs wouldnt matter!

i dont see steam on consoles since steam is a website for pc gameing so im pretty sure that a console would not do well since most game will not be ported in to consoles. also they would have to ask so they can sell game and let you download on a xbox or ps3. and a steam console they have already said that they arnt working on a consoles. now for maybe later on they might work on it but for now it not going to happen

steam isn't able to run on xbox the system is too closed off however valve have made it very clear they wish to do a collaboration with the ps3 the start of this was on portal 2

Steam on the PS3 is with portal 2 good but needs loads of added features and on the Xbox 360 it wont really be good because there is already Xbox Live

^ i dont really understand the logic behind "there is already xbox live" comment... there is already a playstation network haha. but i do agree that steam would go along better with playstation
