android version vs ios version
i have android smartphone and ipad 3. the mobile app on ios was recently updated, but last update for android version was in march 2012. i hope to see at least support of the offline chat on android like ios version soon

Yeah the Android version needs a serious overhaul. Sadly, the ever present bugbear of OS fragmentation is most likely causing Valve grief.

For a text based app like the steam app fragmentation wouldn't really be a lot of trouble...
A design upgrade like Holofication Nation[www.holonation.co.uk] did would already be a huge step forward...
