Well, Steam, I'm a little surprised at you.
Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and this is indeed my first post. So anway, I was waiting for my paycheck to arrive, with Skyrim on standby ready to be purchased. How fortunate! It's on sale, except it's went up in price from the original £19.99. I guess that's marketing for you - Sorry for my terribad copypasta, but MS Paint is my only source of image editing haha.

Aww, that's a shame. I'm sorry :(

Next time, buy it before the price jumps. And get direct-deposit.

That isn't the point. It being on sale, despite having gone up in price makes it ridiculous.

I think the £20 pricing for Skyrim was actually a price fault, which was corrected when the sale began.

In addition, it's not Valve who sets the price but the publisher, or developer in some cases, of the game. So in this case you want to talk to Bethesda.

Wait for the last day of the sale and the Xmas sale is just right around the corner. Maybe it'll go for ever cheaper then
