I am somewhat confused. I just got an Alert from Steam and it states that my American Express has been charged back a recent Steam Store transaction which actually took place back July 14th 2013 and it was a Gift Card.
They removed the Game I purchased with that Gift Card but they didn't remove anything else I purchased over Valve with that Card.
Now it says my account will be restricted for 9 weeks so until Dec 6th from purchasing, gifting, trading, cd activation and access to the steam community access has been disabled. If the chargeback is removed, the restriction will be lifted and the content will be returned to your account.

Anyone ever experienced that or knows what this is all about ?

I did but I am just trying to figure out what in the world is going on. Hearing back from them will be forever. I am just wondering if it happen to someone else and if so what the issue/problem was
