So how long have Halo 1, 2, and 3 have had offical steam groups? I'm just wondering.

for halo 1 I would guess around 5-6 years after the game was realeased in 2000 i beleive. so probbubly a good 7-8 years give or take. not sure about the other games but for sure a group was created once halo 2 and 3 where announced.

Halo CE predates Steam, and so does Halo CE: CE (a.k.a Halo 1 PC). Halo 2 PC was in 2004 or so, but it was not popular as it runs on Vista and Vista alone. There was never a Halo 3 PC.
Becuase Halo is not a PC game as much as Team Fortress 2 is not a Console Game.

Just a quick correction, Halo 2 says it's for Vista only, but it works on windows 7 as well. (Not sure about 8)

Halo 2 runs on windows 7 64-bit OS.

Halo2 Was called Halo2Vista to stop people buying it when they owned WindowsXP as it was one of the first games to only play on that platform. Although it plays on everything AFTER vista.
