Whoever listed this for sale needs to think long and hard about the decisions they've made with their life.

Steam has allowed it because of how many have been released. People just don't know what to do with them and are having problems giving them way.

I used tf2r.com and the person who won my copy MIRACULOUSLY did not already own the game and used it to actually. I strongly recommend that site, it's a great way to disseminate unwanted items to new players.

****Not saying thats the only way to get rid of them, and I'm being sarcastic when I say the seller needs to rethink his entire life.

I know. I just left the reply so the reason behind it being on there is understood by others who read the post.

Problem there is, not every one feels comfortabl using a 3rd part site.

Here's the info page.... http://tf2r.com/info.html

Everyone has to log in through steam so it's easy to look up someone's steam rep and see if they have acted unscrupulously in the past.

That's the part most won't trust. Log in with your Steam information. I know I would never put my Steam information into a 3rd party site. I can trust Steams security. I know nothing about the security a 3rd party uses.

All sites teach people not to use their sign in information on any other site or this reason.

Then why does steam allow this web site to use this feature? I'll post some screen shots in a minute.

I'm not saying Steam doesn't allow it. I'm saying that most people don't use 3rd party sites for security reasons.

Like I said. I don't know or trust the security on the site. There could be malicious code to logg the keys, there could be security holes that can be exploited to get information or redirect to a similar looking site asking for personal information.

We don't even know who the host of the site it. It could be a cheap host in China or some other country.

You seem like your willing to give out too much information to strangers.

I'm pointing out why most will not use a site like that. I'm using "me" as an example. I just don't trade, so I wouldn't us it reguardless.

This is the internet afterall. Account security is the users responsibility and you are not guaranteed to get your account back if the log-in and password are used by someone else.

Just ask those who come to the fourms asking about getting their accounts back and say they didn't find any virus or such on their computer. That would leave a sucessful phishing attempt or using their log-in on a site that was not properly secured.

I treat my Steam account as I would my bank account. The less information you give out, the better.

Then again, I have 300+ games on the line. You only have 34.

Ya take the steam authorizer with a grain of salt it's so easy for someone to copy the exact process of the "Open ID" approach and then the next day you find your account high jacked you won't be thinking people are parinoid then will ya. MAny phising sites use the same graphical elements to simulate a steam API login but they do nothing but take your info and log it in their database for use of hacking you later.

This is a good thing, we have a firm price-point for the game, ie. much less than 2 cents. Thus, anyone saying 'the game is for sale for x dollars, and I'm asking y dollars, which is less than x, so this is a fair price' is full of ♥♥♥♥ because we have this figure now...

I would also never enter my info on a 3rd party site. Hank Peggy Bobby Luanne, we are not being paranoid, just safe. On a side note, I will be starting a new website that allows you to check all your bank account balances on one site! Just enter your account info from the your various banks and you can be my first customer! PM me and I'll provide you with the details!
