[Resolved-user error]STEAM UPDATE BUG
when i was updating steam all files from steam folder were moved to desktop and some folders can't be moved back so now i have a bunch of stupid files in desktop taking up space. Also all my game files were completely deleted from my computer, also after i download a small download game like Terraria and try to launch from steam or desktop shortcut it will pop up with an error saying "Error, Please Launch from steam client".

O.o what happen by you.. on what client are you? (beta or normal client)
And you sure you did not do something.. as no one else seem to have these

You accidently pressed steam exe instead of a shortcut.
The "update" that you saw was steam getting installed on your desktop.
Wow that is a mess....

Well if that is so do not try to use uninstall Steam.. i heard it deletes some what all that is in the folder.. in these case the Desktop.. so i suggest you try to remove it manually.. (even that i may be wrong)

Yeah i realized that... thanks i re-installed it and it is now working perfectly,Thank you
