So whats the next big game? - anything on the horizon?
Seems like ages since we had a really big budget title come out. Steam at the moment is all Indie titles or old games re-hashed, or novelty stuff.

Is it just me or has it been ages since a real AAA title was released? I'm thinking back to last year when we had the likes of FarCry3, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider - to name just 3. All of them BIG games with 20+ hours of gameplay just to complete the campaign, all with great graphics, soundtracks etc.. (I don't need to define a blockbuster game i guess)

So yeah... anyone got any inside info? where's the next Blockbuster?

The next big launch on PC is Dark Souls 2, although the console launch was a month or so ago, and I suspect a heck of a lot of the fan base will have bought it on console first (I know I did). Beyond that, as said above, I think the next huge launch is Watchdogs.

There's a new Wolfenstein coming out soonish I think,as well as Witcher

^Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor^ is looking quite excellent. 40 gigs of HD space = lol. Comcast will probably give me a - 'timeout' - after that download, even though I never ever get close to the 250 gig monthly cap. As long as I can finish that dl uninterrupted - might take a couple of days = lulz.

Large studios and publishers are not releasing games as fast as they were in the past. Notice that large studios have gone bankrupt and closed meaning not as many major studios do not exist anymore.

I do know that there is a tech demo that will be released soon (and for free) for a game using UE4 (but you have to have a 64bit system). It has some really cool features.

This may not be a "real" blockbuster but a very promising game, from the looks of it anyway, is Galactic Civilizations 3.
