What if I am falsely reported by a user?
This guy put my name on his profile and says I am a scammer simply because I don't want to trade a scroll for a rare. Can anyone (or steam support people) look at my trade offering and do something to this falsely reporter?

Report him through his profile, Steam support will take care of him.

I did do so. But how long will steam support take care?

It's impossible to predict when or even if they will follow up on the report. False reports get no one anywhere. They tie up resources and waste peoples time. If he really did report you and there was no scam then you'll be fine as far as dicsiplinary action goes. As for you being labelled a scammer on someones public profile, I'm just not sure if that's something Steam Support would actually remove. Unfortunately I've seen them allow much worse to remain.

First, his "report" is mentioning of your name on his profile and hardly constitutes an actual report to any authority.

Second, if his profile offends you, report his profile to Steam and move on. If Steam Support doesn't respond in a few days, just ignore the clown and move on. There's absolutely no upside here.

Finally, stop advertising his profile. You just gave him a bunch of views by posting his profile. It's called the "Streisand Effect" and it is very real. The more you talk about his profile, the more people will see it...and see the text that offends you.
