Mount and blade Warband Key Prompt not showing

Since talesworld has little to none support to their game, im here. I bought a key off talesworld site, my instructions are to open my demo( that i played) and enter my key wen prompted. one thing though, no prompt. i know what it looks like from a vidoe, but i dont get it. Someone help, is there a way to force it open?
