10 years of Steam anniversary sale?

It's been over 10 years now since the beta, around 10 years since first released and coming up to 10 years in 2014 for when CS was made steam only.

Either that or Rag Doll Kung Fu first 3rd party titles is the true 'start' to Steam imo

but the sale you offer here is abut 10 years for Steam not CS... what means when Steam really start no matter if it was usefl then or not

IMO Steam began what it is today with the first 3rd party sale which was Rag Doll Kung Fu in 2004, I think that is the start of Steam as we know it today, it used to be more like Origin back then, with only Valve title :)

But yet i think its a start.. you cant say that something is not a start just as it was small... XD

And really if they do it i think they can put on sale any how only there own titles no?
If they put more then only them self then that mean connecting to the publishers and all abut it.. something that will take time

Well they should do a 15 or 20 year sale I think haha. They arrange the sales for twice or more each year anyway, I think they could send out an email for this too!

Since we're not getting Half Life 2 ep 3 or HL3 any time soon lol. Slack money earners not making games, grrr!

I think there is. Google does that with the Play Store. In 2011 they had a sale to celebrate 10 Bllion downloads: There were 10 days of sales, each day 10 apps would be sold for 10 cents (of US$). Back then the Google Play Store was called "Android Market". I remember that each day I'd buy about 5-6 apps and games that I'd never buy otherwise for more than 10 cents (because I though some of them were worth 10 cents... and I was right about most of them!)

I suggest Steam do the same for its 10 year anniversary: 10 days, 10 games each day for 10 cents!

Any how the thing is these also involve coneting the game publisers and setting the price they want to sale on.. something that takes time to set... and like i say 10 years is fine... but i really do not think its call a sale even less so far after it happen maybe only for Valve games

But if all ready maybe some event for a badge just for the fun to mark it.. or make a short game/mod for a source game for it

lol it would take so long to download, your 10 minutes would be up :) I usually spend about 10 minutes in the options before I play any game as well haha. And for games with 20 minute intros and long intro quicktime stuff that would be a real tease.. or say a huge game like Civ 5 or Rome Total War 2, good luck doing much in 10 minutes :P
