Why must you put down people based on their spending habits? If they want to spend their money to get a high Steam level, that's their choice.

That is the one they are talking about if you read the thread.
True, in most cases. But I have my reasons to limit my Steam friends due to a bug in Call of Duty Black Ops 2 where you can't have more than 60 Steam friends. If you do and view the leaderboards, the game will crash.
However, if that bug did not exist, I will readily add more people irregardless of their Steam rank.
