What's the interest with people with extremely high level Steam accounts. These people are most likely in the lowest of the real world social ladder. It takes a lot of time, money and trading--possibly like a full time job.

Why must you put down people based on their spending habits? If they want to spend their money to get a high Steam level, that's their choice.

I can't remember the guys name, but he was from Tokyo, Japan and stated that he had no skills. He scored like almost 40,000 points for the green team in this past summer sale and his summer event badge was like level 250. My freaking mouth hit my key board when I saw that. You'd have to live in front of your computer the whole time the sale was on to hit those levels. Plus a fat wad of cash to boot.

The arrogance and narcissism is asstounding from these real high level profile people. One guy said, "Don't bother sending me an invite unless you're level 200, or higher." That's just a small example of what I mean. Plus they all friend one another...like it's a club. Oh and if you attack them, they send out their worshipping minions to fight back at you. The bottom of the bottom of their friends lists. I care not to be apart of THAT steam world. Most of them are probably sad sacks in real-life anyway. Enough said.

True, in most cases. But I have my reasons to limit my Steam friends due to a bug in Call of Duty Black Ops 2 where you can't have more than 60 Steam friends. If you do and view the leaderboards, the game will crash.

However, if that bug did not exist, I will readily add more people irregardless of their Steam rank.
