Is it an .exe file? Be sure not to run the file.

No, it's not a exe but in eventviewer there are 68,000 errors because of it

Starting in Safe Mode (WIIN+R, "msconfig", 'safeboot') might be necessary to ensure adequate removal of unwanted software.

You may need to ensure it is not a running process, then disable any services associated with it if any - especially if these services are set to restart on failure.

Lastly, after removal, be sure to run full anti-malware scans and a HiJackThis log may also be good to check for any registry entries, BHO and other unwanted features that remain.
