Incidentally, if you're looking for an advent sale, the publisher/digital store Playism has one right now. Some of their stuff includes Steam keys too, especially for games they've pubilshed themselves.

nope,only leaked

Steam’s Autumn sale will reportedly run from November 25th at 10am PT and will end on December 1st at 10am PT. The Winter / Holiday sale will reportedly run from December 22nd at 10am PT and end on January 4th at 10am PT.

Last year the 26th Nov - 2nd Dec 2014 were the dates for the Exploration sale.
Year before that, the 27th Nov - 2nd Dec 2013 were the dates for the autumn sale.

Neither had anything inbetween those and the actual christmas sale.

Take a look onto my patches. There were 3 Winter Specials in the past i can remember
1.one you had to collect Cole when you had enough you got a random steam game (maximum 10€ or smth like that) 2. You can collect (dont remember what it was) for crafting badges and palying games and .. there was a team fortress 2 special ..... 3. play minigame to become a badge

when i remember correctly ... and the winter sale itself ... maybe youre right that this was only 1 year start 1-24 december ..... but you know now i miss hardly the mini specials ^^
