Report a translation problem
Most smaller games take up about 2 GB or less. Some older but large-scale games take up about 2-5 GB. more modern games often take up something like 10-30 GB. Sometimes you get really bloated games taking up up to 60 GB.
Each game's store page should tell you what RAM and storage space you need.

12-16GB for ARK is recommended by many.
I have 32GB for OS Disk Caching and futureproofing as RAM is dirt cheap.
General rule of thumb is at least as much RAM as the two leading consoles (8GB each in this case).
Oh, and I still use the 9800GT.
I'm on the verge of a new one, though. Just waiting for deals.
