Install Windows via Bootcamp! Don't forget to backup before you start.

Use Wine, and Wine Bottler

You could also go for Homebrew[brew.sh] if you're a more experienced user and know your whereabouts in the Terminal, and install Wine, and potentially Winetricks through there.

I would definitely recommend using Bootcamp. I use it myself and I haven't had any problems so far.

I've also had success using Wineskin on some older games. Look up Wine skin winery. Portingteam . com and there are some others that do a good job of making wrappers so that you do not have to reboot every time.

crossover might work, at least for some games.

where do you find the .exe files for the games to put into the wrapper/bottle?

Skyrim works great within a special cider-wrapper I found :)
