Improving the Mac Experience by hiding PC Games
I love Steam sales. I hate clicking on every game to see if a Mac version is available. On the home page, it should show the platforms, or give me a preference where I can say "Platforms to See: [X] Mac [] Windows [] Linux". Just gray out the display of the Windows based games.

Tailoring the experience I have in the Store for my platform gives me the ability to spend money easier and faster.

Where? If you're talking about the category on the store, MacOS, that's not what I'm talking about. The store front page has sales, but they're mostly PC.

I actually dont think there really is a way around it except for the MacOS catagory on the store...if there is i have yet to find it :/ I totally agree though , sifting through millions of PC games just to find ONE I can play on my Mac frustrates me to no end

In the store's normal interface, there is a button that only shows Mac-compatible games. Not sure if there is one with the sale in progress. However, on the top menu bar, next to "Featured Items" is a "Games" dropdown menu that has an option for "Mac OS X" games. The system as it stands is quite clunky for Mac users, at the moment.

Right, I know about the MacOS option from the store menu. I was referring to the sale pages. Adding the compatible OS next to the pricing, or just "graying out" the ones I don't care about would go a long way towards getting more money.

I see this is an old discussion but I still cant seem to find this option. I'm using Ubuntu and I dont want to see games that are not compatible with this OS.

Guys! I've found it!
Steam - Preference - Account - View account detail (top right corner) - Preference - Platform Preference - GOTCHA!

Sorry, nice try. I have had that enabled forever and it does not do it. I still see Win Platform-only games on the main Sales page.
