TF2 In-Game Alt+Tab not working on Mac

Why won't the in-game overlay work sometimes when I play Team Fortress 2?

Happens with me too.

I don't know what it is; sometimes it's fine, and then other times, it won't open at all. (Additionally, My trading screen changed in a very odd way (in-game when I can actually open it); I'm unable to see any make trade, cancel trade, or ready up ceckbox; I'll post photos later)

Try swapping the controls to something else (ctrl+tab, for example), and then try it. I had the same problem on my Mac, and once I switched keys in worked fine.

Does Apple key tab work?

For me the problem seems to go away once i close and relaunch whatever game i'm in though i've had to restart steam a couple times to get it to work. Swapping keys doesn't seem to work for me though so i'm not sure what causes it either.

Just use [Tab] and/or other key thats not needed, Works for me, but issues is that sometimes the overlay wont even show up on Mac.

No, the default combo is Shift+ Tab; and I checked the steam preferences to make sure of this.
