IS there a way to install windows games on mac from steam?
I just bought Torchlight 2 and I was planning on using playonmac to run it, but steam won't let me download torchlight 2 onto my mac because its not a compatible platform, so is there any work around for this so I can just get the files onto my computer from torchlight 2?

you could use a virtualization software like parallels.

Install the Windows version of Steam in PlayOnMac. You will need that anyway since the version of Torchlight II you bought from Steam won't run without it.

Thanks I figured it out and got Torchlight 2 to run the first time, but now every time after it crashes when I chose to play without mods it will load the screen up but then apparantly freezes

Install Bootcamp which allows you to install Windows. Then you got 2 operating systems and can play PC games like normal on a Mac.

Thanks for the input I actually found a wrapper for it that is a lot better and a lot less of a hassle to set up:
