Reason why your cilent crashing after Mac OS X update.

Since the mac update is new, Steam is not supported on Mac OS X 10.8.3 yet. I'm running Mac OS X 10.8.2 and when I run Steam I don't get any error or crashes. Uninstall Steam and reinstall the cilent to update. Don't worry, this happend to all Mac OS X 10.8.3 users.

NOTE: THIS IS OLD NOW! Steam is now supported on the latest Mac OS X update.

It didn't. I have Steam running on two separate Macs with OS X 10.8.3 without any problems.

Yes I mean most users have this problem my Macbook Pro didn't have this problem. I created this post because Iv'e been hearing people has this problem

That's not a problem of an OS X version, this is completely wrong. I used to have same error with OS X 10.8.2. However, here's a solution.
Posted it on other thread already. The solution is quite simple - open /Applications/Steam.app/Contents/MacOS/steam.sh in your favourite text editor, and on the second line (which is empty) write this:

rm -f '~/Library/Application Support/Steam/registry.vdf'

Save the file. Now it will always work, you don't have to remove the file manually anymore. gg.

yeah i re downloaded it, im running OS X 10.8.2 seems to be working fine although im currently only downloading 2 games atm, have not tried any.

OSX 10.8.3 on iMac: I couldn't start the steam client application by the first installation. It always alerts "Could not connect internet"
