OSX Steam San Andreas Not Working.

I have recently bought and downloaded San Andreas via Steam for my macbook pro with OSX 10.8.5. I keep receiving an "Application Load Error 5:0000065434" and I followed some other forums advice of verifying the integrity of the game cache, to which I receive the response of there being "63 files failed to validate and will be reacquired." If anyone could give some advice or point me in the right direction then I would really appreciate it. I have reinstalled several times and deleted all files before reinstalling, but to no avail.

Have you tryed to run this game after validating files? What are your system specs [-About this Mac->More info]?

Yeah it comes up with the same Load Error after verifying/validating the files. I'm running OSX Lion 10.8.5 with a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 and 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3. Bought the macbook pro about a year ago...if that helps

you need snow leopard 10.6.8 or higher it says on the store page
