Running Windows games on Mac.
So heres my issue. I would like to play some of the Windows catalogue of Steam (Skyrim and some others) on my Mac. Now, I know about Bootcamp. But i would prefer not to spend upwards of 100 bucks on Windows, as I MUCH prefer OSX. I also know about Parallels, Wine, and the other emulating programs. Does anyone have experience with this?

I'm not sure. To play a Windows game on Mac always cost money unless you somehow get it illegal which is...illegal. I don't realy need the Windows platform as all the games I like are on Mac. And I can always use my 4 years old computer that runs tf2 at 60fps at medium settings for windows games.

You can pay downwards of $100 for windows 7 here:

You really just have to bite the bullet and buy windows if you want to have the best overall experience.

People have had success with Wineskin (http://wineskin.urgesoftware.com/tiki-index.php), but I've mostly seen it recommended for simple games like Terraria. Not sure how well Skyrim would run in wine.
