Recording Games with Quicktime
I am a gamer who records videos, and I usually do internet games, but now want to record Steam games. I tried recording No More Room in Hell, which worked just fine before I opened Quicktime, but as I opened Quicktime and started recording, the game was extremely laggy. I could only fix this problem when I stopped recording. I have tried a few more times, and with every game it is really laggy. I don't really want to get a new system to record with, and free is better. I have two questions to answer:

1. Is there a way to record a Steam game with Quicktime without the fps and quality dying?
2. Will the game always be laggy while recording with Quicktime?
3. How do you record Steam games full screen with Quicktime?
4. If it is not possible to record well with Quicktime, does Steam have a (free) recording system I can use?
5. Any advice?

Please read, and if you have an answer to any of these questions, it would be a big help.

You will simply have to find a different recording program.
