Can't start steam on my mac + can't fint steam map in applications support

Hi!

I've played CS:GO a few times on my mac for about 3-4 months ago. Today, when i wanted to play the game again, steam doesn't start. What is the problem? When i press the steam button, nothing happens, it just jups one time then nothing. I've tried a several "solutions" but nothing seems to work. And now, after i reinstalled it for the 3rd time, the steam folder in applications support isn't there..... Please help me guys!!
