I'm new to Steam, and I'm having an odd thing happen on my Mac since installing the Steam client.
Every time I log into my primary user account, the following Finder folder window pops open in the middle of my screen:
I'm an experienced Mac user, and I recognize this as a folder users shouldn't be in unless they know what they're doing (i.e., The "Contents" folder inside the app package contains the bits and pieces that make the software work). It's not a folder that a typical app will automatically open in the user's face - it's a folder the average Mac user wouldn't even know how to access (I know how, but I usually don't because I wouldn't know what I was doing in there *G*).
Now, of course, this isn't a big issue, since all I need to do is simply close the window. But the point is that I shouldn't have to. Why is this window even opening in the first place? I'm not a fan of my Mac doing things I haven't specifically asked it to do, especially when it's a 3rd-party app doing it.
Is there a way to make this window stop opening all by itself?
