Are there any extra steps needed when transfering my games from a windows operating system to a OS operating system?
I just got a new computer and I am going to transfer my steamapps folder onto this one, but I'm wondering whether I might come into any difficulties when doing so? will it have to convert my games for mac? will some of them just not work on mac? As you can tell I am not very skilled at computing and that is why I am asking here

BTW, my mac is a Mac-Mini running OS X and my old computer was a TOSHIBA laptop running Windows 7

You can run your windows games you already have on the Mac if you run them in parallels or setup bootcamp and run windows on your Mac. ELSE you must re-download all the games again. (typically they are included free on steam) but you will need the time to have them all redownload. Mac OS and Windows are different operating systems and the game must be made for that OS. (windows or Mac) unless you run a emunator like parallels as I do.
