I use a 2012 imac i7 with gt650, seems to hold up well with all games I have. Think a mac would be the ultimate one to get though.

The best one?
Step 1: Build a PC with amazing parts
Step 2: Install WINDOWS
Step 3: Play games that macs cannot
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profit

The lastest mac desktops will probably be best. not much variety too choose from. I use my 2012 Macbook Pro sometimes, but I also placed in 16 GB of ram inside. I mainly use it for in-home streaming though.

if u indend to use computer solely for gaming on steam go with PC. Otherwise look for any current gen Mac with dedicated graphics card (NVIDIA or AMD).

Nevertheless, Intel 5000, 5100 (iris) and Iris pro are fairly good for integrated GPU -- you still would be able to play modern games on lower settings.

That much ram shouldn't effect games. Most games don't use more than 2GB
slow as you :** Jun 8 @ 9:49pm
MacBook Air as well as possible.

I currently use a Macbook and it's basically a school laptop. It's really slow and everything. But eventually I get really used to it after a while. So I recommend to not use a originial macbook but i would highly suggest a macbook pro or a macbook air possibly because my school computer is really slow and lags a lot so to be honest it reallly does frustrate me a little.

Or you could do a custom Hackintosh with compatible parts ;)

You could, you just would want to make sure to set up a Windows partition ;)

What about a MacBook Pro?

iMac is the best bang for the buck. Get one with a discrete graphics card, and you should be good.

Bang for the buck, and Mac doesn't go well together.
