Steamcmd line 30 error
So, I'm trying to setup a teamfortress 2 server (Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit) and keep getting this error, which has apparently been around for awhile:

/home/teamfortress/steamcmd/steamcmd.sh: line 30: 7305 Illegal instruction (core dumped) $DEBUGGER "$STEAMROOT/$PLATFORM/$STEAMEXE" "$@"

What I've managed to find online says "install 32-bit libraries," though as a 32-bit install of Ubuntu his should not be required. Any advice?

On my debian 7 machine I used this to avoid any problems with 32 bits libs :
dpkg --add-architecture i386
apt-get update
apt-get install ia32-libs
apt-get install lib32gcc1
But on https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SteamCMD#32-bit_libraries_on_64-bit_Linux_systems they say you only need to do
apt-get install lib32gcc1
if you use Ubuntu.

Thanks, but that would only apply to 64-bit systems. As a 32-bit installation of Ubuntu, lib32gcc1 and ia32-libs should not be required. I already tried installing them anyway just for the heck of it, and neither one showed up as downloadable under the 32-bit repositories.

Thanks anyway though.

Sorry, I didn't understand that you installed a 32-bit system ^^". In this case I have no idea of what to do, sorry ^^".
