i cant view any steam videos because of flash help please

when i try to view video content in steam it tells me i need to have the right version of flash and i do because i just updated it but it still didn't work so i looked on steam forums they said uninstall then reinstall because it might be corrupt i followed them instructions but it still comes up the same thing please help if anyone knows how to fix this you would be of great help.

Post your system specs or a link to your dxdiag file. If you are on 7, uninstall Adboe flash, reboot (as to clear the registry) then re-install[get.adobe.com] If the issue persists, feel free to add me.

Also, note that one does not install third party (Flash) software within Steam. Also, you don't need to re-boot, just install Adobe Flash[get.adobe.com] from your internet browser (I.E., Chrome, Firefox) and re-start Steam.

Source: Had a friend with the same issue, resolved via Team Viewer.
