Finally, using GFWL was annoying but I guess no more annoying than having to use Uplay whilst in Steam.

Well, it's a bit vague, but it's definitely good news that they're planning to address the issue at least. Hopefully they will just remove the offending DRM and be done with it, as Bioshock 2 and the Batman games have.
