Not played it, but after the hype died down, Dark Souls and Demon Souls fans were ripping into it. From the sounds of things, it was a big step back from the previous in the series.

Absolutely not, it's horrible. A disgrace compared to the first game.

Nope. To me Wolfenstein, The Wolf Among Us and Southpark were all more fun, interesting and unique than DS2. I think FromSoft were saving their best new material for Bloodborne, at the expense of DS2. While DS2 is not a bad game in my opinion, it does not reach the same level as DS1.

However these awards don't really matter, it won't affect sales because people already know by now what kind games these are. Well..I got a free cope of XCom by voting, so that's something.
