Paintingprogramms
Hi I´ve been trying to make a 2D Point and Click andventure game however I can´t figure out how to make the pictures fir it. I can Scann in Handdrawn pictures but haven´t found a programm to work on them at the computer. So please tell me if you know any FREE painting software that would be good for this job or any advice on how to make these pictures.

Gimp is the best free paint program I've found. Try that.

They use to calll Paint Shop Pro "The poor man's version of Adobe Illustrator". They are on version 17 now "I think". It's one of the easiest programs to learn to use, and you can get V10 free or very cheap. I've used PSP since before there were versions for all sorts of graphic design, including 2D and 3D buttons of any kind. Just google "Coral Paint Shop Pro", and do yourself a favor and watch some youtube basics on it.

Hope that helps

I have Photoshop but I use PaintDotNet everytime I need to draw something :D:

It's free and simple to use. Perfect

Combine any of the art programs suggested with gamemaker if you don't want to waste time with code.
Gimp.
