Dark Souls 2 vs Dark Souls 2 SOTFS

I've never played DS2 which one should I get?

Just buy the regular Dark Souls. Can you get one or the other? I thought SOTFS was a DLC.

Apparently SOTFS is a complete pack on next gen but is has some minor changes.... The only reasone I was going to buy it was for 60 fps

I've heard that for the most part, SOTFS doesn't really make things better due to some level layouts being mediocre and due to poorly chosen changes to things such as enemy placement. It's your choice though.

The first dark souls game is better in every possible way, but if you're going to get dark souls 2 then get SOTFS. Better enemy layouts, better item positioning, better everything. But it's still not as good.

Dark Souls 1. Playing it after 2, I realized that 2 is a heavily watered-down sequel. Still need to get the fixes for 1.

SOTFS is like the compleat pack. It contains DS2 and all the DLC as well as uses DX10 (DS2 only uses DX9).

I'd get DS2:SOTFS.

I would get SOTFS as well. It has every bit of content plus little upgrades here and there.

SOTFS is DS2, just better in any aspect.
