Market Gaming PC?
I will need a laptop when I go off to college; it will need to be practical for everyday using, but I will also be playing some higher-end games, such as Skyrim, Battlefield, and the Need for Speed franchise (besided Portal, TF2, and Starbound). Does anyone know of a PC that can run those games smoothly, without needing to be modified too much? I am not very well educated in the inner workings of computers. It would also be great if this laptop was under $1000. Does anyone have any recommendations for a laptop that fits or almost fits those qualifications? I have been doing research but it seems like there is always a faulty part or a trade-off somewhere. Thanks!

man i totaly agree with SYKE and time goblin. but you said you want a pratical one so instead of Y510 you should get the Y410 that is 14'' and not 17'' (giant). It is very powerfull, get the job done and you can take him to every place on a backpack without messing your back!!
Any way go to lenovo website and check the size and weigth !
Hope i coud help you to get the best option for you. if size and weigth does not matter to you get the Y510 !!
