Need a new cheap gfx for gaming.
Hey guys, so my 3 year pc is starting not to handle the new games so well anymore and first I wanna buy a new graphics card. The problem is that I'm short on budget and can only afford a gfx wich wouldn't be more expensive than 130 $ ( or 95 € or 79 £ ). I'd appreciated if you]d help me buy the best one :).

P.S. my pc specs:
Power supply 400 W
Proccesor : Intel Pentium Dual Core E6600 3.06 ghz
GFX : Radeon HD 5570 1 GB
4 GB of ram
600 GB hdd memory
Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-G31M ES2L
And a 1280x1024(square) VGA monitor monitor...

Why?
Just because prices maybe different depending on what part of the globe you're in. I'm a musician and different prices on gear vary depending on what part of the world you're in, I'd assume it's the same for computer parts too!

Keep what you've got and keep on saving for a complete new PC?

You also need a new CPU, more RAM and so on. At this point your GPU is maybe as good as the rest of the system really needs.

Maybe the best GPU you can get for the price though is the HD 7790 or R7 260X. It's far better than the rest of your system though.

I agree with you about that I need a new cpu ram 'n ♥♥♥♥, I'm planned to do that later, but some friends of mine offered to upgrade a GFX first. The CPU is not a problem and it's second on the list. The problem is the RAM since it's DDR2 and there's only 2 ports for them, and it kinda' sucks...
And saving for a new pc is gonna be a very long period, ~1 year :( with my budget.

My GPU barely runs Thief on low 800X600 (or whatever) with ~10-20 fps, so to me that's a sign to start upgrading...

Then those prices i've mentioned would be 330 LTL (Lithuanian Litas) in my country.

Yes they are good but they require a 500 W power supply and mine is only 400 W.

7790 is very low power, 400w is more than enough for it

everything really needs an upgrade
intel c2d is as good as amd duals

http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/247/AMD_FX-Series_FX-8350_vs_Intel_Pentium_Dual-Core_E6600.html
(8350 has 8 cores, and still around 3x better than the c2d e6600)

if you can find a cheap c2q that will work in the board, itll be as good as fx4000s
(it will be great for games that need up to 4 cores)
if you want beyond that
i3 will beat it hands down, i5 will run circles around it

On Gigabyte. com says that my motherboard can even handle a 4 core CPU so that is not a problema and the AMD quad's are cheap in my country.

I wouldn't put an AMD CPU in an Intel Motherboard... Check the sockets.

GTX 750. This should be around €95 in Lithuania. GTX 750 Ti would be better but this is probably around €130.

going with amd would need a new mobo
if you are willing to upgrade the board, go with an i3/i5 over amd

fyi, ther wre 2 flavors of 775 cpus/boards
look up the board model, and see what cpus work with it

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3485#ov
select the board rev, and suppport/downloads and cpu support list
